Spring in NYC – a chance to see the cherry blossoms bloom, to catch a Yankees game, and, my personal favorite – to once again sip a Spritz outside!
Below, are my favorite spots to enjoy a cold aperol spritz outside. Afterall, you deserve it – you survived the wintery wind tunnels in FiDi and have a few weeks before its too hot to be anywhere without AC.
For a Casual Experience:
1. The Frying Pan
Starting off with a classic NYC spot – The Frying Pan is a casual option to have a spritz on the Hudson River. It’s a fun experience because not only are you sitting al fresco, but you are also spritzing on a boat! There is plenty of seating and you don’t need waitress service. However, for-warning – this spot is beloved by interns/ young 20-somethings. Despite the abundant seating, you may still experience a line during sunset on a warm Friday, Saturday or Sunday night.
