Meet The Travel Manuel –

Hi there! My name is Kerry Manuel — a travel storyteller, content creator, and the globe-trotting guide behind The Travel Manuel.

You might be wondering, what’s the difference between a Manual and a Manuel? Well, a Manual tells you what to do; a Manuel shows you!

After a few years working on Wall Street, I realized life’s too short (and the world too big) to stay in one place. So, I swapped the NYC grind for global adventures — and now I’m on a mission to share the stories, people, and places I discover along the way.

I’ve traveled to over 40 countries (and counting), have taken a million photos (and counting), tried nearly every food offered to me, and have met people from all walks of life. I’ve always had friends from different backgrounds; now I have friends on nearly every continent!

Over time, as I shared these adventures on Instagram, friends, family, and fellow travelers began asking for tips and/ or recommendations — in other words, they were looking for my Travel Manuel.”

And so, The Travel Manuel was born: a place to document my journeys, give my photos a proper home, share moments of joy, and one day, look back with a smile.
